I am excited to be participating in the 8th Annual Pals In Motion event on September 15.
And the reason why is seen in that picture of Karen and our granddaughter Domino laughing on this page. She’s been staying with us at Grandma and Grandpa camp for 2 weeks and chasing after a 4 yr. old isn’t easy. Karen has been more than keeping up with her, however, and they have been having a ball together. Karen is able to do that despite her Parkinson’s because she has also been keeping up with her exercise and care and services offered by InMotion. InMotion’s mission is to help people with Parkinson’s disease (PD) feel better every day and some of those better days are the one’s she gets to spend with our granddaughter. So, I’m participating in this Pals event and asking you to help so that Karen and many others can continue to attend InMotion free of charge and be able to comfortably play with their grandkids despite their PD. That way we can all have many more moments of laughter together.
Funds raised from this event fund life-changing physical wellness, creative movement, arts, education, support and research programs to our Parkinson’s community – all offered FREE OF CHARGE to people with PD and their care partners.
